Ralph Thibodeau is a registered Architect in
the State of Texas, and a 1972 graduate of
the School of Architecture of the University
of Texas at Austin.
With a total of thirty five years of experience
in
the field, including the role of Principal of
his own firm for twenty-six years, from 1980
to
2007, Thibodeau has a very diversified background in the design of Commercial, Institutional, and Health Care facilities, as
well as Custom Residential and Multi-Family projects.
His multi-disciplined design background and extensive working knowledge of the technical aspects of the construction process, and of construction materials and methods, has enabled his firm to offer complete professional services, from the early planning stages of
a project, to construction observation and contract administration.
The firm specializes in the design of Veterinary Medical projects, having designed over fifty Animal Hospital Facilities, Thibodeau was awarded Hospital Of The Year in the 1992 Veterinary Economics Hospital Design Competition for the design of Cove Animal Clinic in Copperas Cove, Texas, and again in 2007 for Atascocita Animal Hospital in Humble, Texas. The firm has received Merit Awards in the 1995, 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2006 Design Competitions for the design of Balcones Animal Hospital in Austin, Texas, Hope Animal Clinic in Marble Falls, Texas, Ingleside Animal Hospital in Ingleside, Texas, Hill Country Veterinary Hospital in Cedar Park Texas, and The Emergency Animal Clinic of Collin County in Plano, Texas.
Thibodeau is a member of both the National American Institute of Architects and the local Texas Chapter, as well as the Texas Society of Architects. He is also an Allied member of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association.
